The Boscombe Centre for Community Arts (BCCA) was built in 1878, and was originally named the Boscombe British School. Bournemouth Council plan to demolish a building that was founded by the poet Percy Shelly and given to Bournemouth as a place of learning in 1903.

Bournemouth Council and Bournemouth 2026 want to tear it down and build houses on the land, however, members of the Community have taken it on their own backs to reopen the building to the public, as a much needed community asset in Boscombe.

These websites were blacked out for 24 hours on January 18th, to raise awareness. Likewise, many of us should take similar action versus this bill. The damage it would cause to our internet infrastructure would be irreparable.

What is SOPA?

Approximately 15 tents were set up and occupied by individuals of the politically and socially aware and awake citizens of Bournemouth.

Union considering investigation into Bournemouth Council's deal with Mouchel

A TRADE union is considering paying for its own investigation into Bournemouth’s controversial outsourcing deal after a senior officer was escorted from the town hall.

Unison may ask the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) to study plans to transfer the council’s finance and human resources to private management.

It is astonishing to the rational mind how blatant the control of mainstream media has become. This is an invite to their place of business to discuss the punishment. As it is a Commercial Court, I will not contract with the court, by refusing to stand.
